Amid attacks from parties seeking to undermine the policies of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Minister Susi Pudjiastuti, officials from the ministry have started working with state prosecutors to counter a number of lawsuits directed at it. According to Mas Achmad Santosa, the head of the illegal fishing prevention task force, the ministry will work closely with prosecutors from the Attorney-General’s Office (AGO) to address the growing legal challenges it is currently dealing with.
